As the operational conditions have been met, the airline has introduced 4 new rotations to Isle of Pines spread between Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th:

On Saturday, August 19th:

• Flight TY 1421 to Isle of Pines, scheduled departure at 8:40
• Flight TY 1422 from Isle of Pines to Nouméa, scheduled departure at 9:40

On Sunday, August 20th:

• Flight TY 1421 to Isle of Pines, scheduled departure at 14:00
• Flight TY 1422 from Isle of Pines to Nouméa, scheduled departure at 15:00
• Flight TY 1423 to Isle of Pines, scheduled departure at 16:10
• Flight TY 1424 from Isle of Pines to Nouméa, scheduled departure at 17:10
• Flight TY 1425 to Isle of Pines, scheduled departure at 18:40
• Flight TY 1426 from Isle of Pines to Nouméa, scheduled departure at 19:40

The airline’s teams are ready to guide customers towards these flights, which are now open for booking. Reservations can be made through the airline’s website or with their sales agents (by phone at 25 21 77 and at agencies and ticket counters).

The manager of the Isle of Pines airport has just notified the partial closure of the facility until August 20th inclusive. As a result, the company is obliged to cancel all its flights to this destination during this period.

With the airport of the Isle of Pines once again operational this morning, the company is making every effort to resume its regular flights.

Passengers who already have their confirmed reservations will be given priority for travel, and the available seats are now open for booking.

On Saturday, August 12th, the South Province will charter the Betico for a passenger rerouting rotation for those stranded on the Isle of Pines.

Passengers affected by flight cancellations are requested to visit the Betico office, located at the Tourism Office in Kuto Bay, to register on the passenger list and to receive travel information.

Passengers whose flights to Isle of Pines have been canceled and who are stuck in Nouméa are asked to report to the Nouméa maritime station before 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 12th, to register on the passenger list and to receive travel information.

Since Monday, August 7th, the company has been forced to cancel its flights to the Isle of Pines due to a protest movement that is preventing the operation of the aerodrome. The airport blockade is still ongoing, and Air Calédonie is not allowed to operate its flights.

Passengers affected by the cancellation of their flight(s), regardless of the fare class of their purchased tickets, can:

• reschedule their tickets without penalty fees until November 30, 2023, if booked within the same fare category as originally reserved;
• request a refund for their tickets without penalty fees (excluding non-refundable service fees).

Passengers booked on our flights to the Isle of Pines until August 21th can request an early rescheduling of their trip without penalty fees until November 30th, 2023, if booked within the same fare category as originally reserved.

These modification requests can be made via email (vente@air-caledonie.nc), by phone with our agents (+687 252 177), or at the Plaza agency (Vallée du Tir – Nouméa). For refund requests, a dedicated form is also available on our website.

The company is making every effort to minimize the inconveniences caused by this situation beyond its control and thanks its passengers for their understanding.

Due to the continuation of the blockade at the Isle of Pines aerodrome, the airline is compelled to cancel the flights scheduled for the morning of Thursday, August 10th:

• TY401, bound for the Isle of Pines departing from Magenta at 8:40 AM
• TY402, bound for Magenta departing from the Isle of Pines at 9:40 AM

Affected passengers will be notified by SMS or email based on the contact information provided during reservation.
