Raid Air Calédonie on the Isle of Pines: Get ready with your running shoes!

As every year, Air Calédonie invites all running enthusiasts to the Air Calédonie Raid on the Isle of Pines. This year, the Raid will take place on October 14th, and registrations are already open!

An extraordinary route and a wonderful weekend of discoveries await!

The 27th edition of the Air Calédonie Raid on the Isle of Pines remains faithful to previous editions by offering a breathtaking course! On Saturday, October 14th, nearly 200 runners will kick off their weekend with a 16.5 km course, allowing them to appreciate the landscapes from the N’Ga Peak and the Kunié beaches. As usual, the departure will be from the Vao church, and the race will finish in the magnificent Kanuméra Bay, in front of the Nataïwatch lodge. It promises to be a great challenge with friendly moments centered around sporting values.

In the evening, a buffet will be available. After this intense first day, Sunday will be dedicated to relaxation and enjoying the island and its activities: snorkeling in Kanuméra Bay, leisure time in Kuto, or exploring the natural pool in Oro! There’s nothing better to conclude the weekend.

Good to know

While the adults are sweating it out, the little ones can be taken care of at the starting point. Indeed, a daycare service is offered at the Vao church, and then the children are transported to the race’s finish line by the organizing committee. This service will be payable directly on-site, 1000 F XPF/child.

Ensuring better baggage tracking

In a constant effort to improve the reliability of its services, the company requests passengers to limit the weight of their luggage to the allowance mentioned on their ticket starting from July.

Enhancing luggage management within the company

As a result, the purchase of excess baggage at the check-in counter will no longer be possible. This decision is aimed at better controlling the transportation of luggage and minimizing the consequences caused by operational uncertainties (particularly reducing the number of bags unable to board the passenger’s flight). Starting from July, you will have two options if the weight of your luggage exceeds the allocated allowance.

Anticipate your excess baggage to optimize their handling

If the weight of your baggage exceeds the allowance mentioned on your ticket, you have two options:

  • Reserve an additional baggage package on our website from your personal booking space. This option is available up to 4 hours before your scheduled flight departure.
  • Send your excess baggage through our freight service.

Put on your sneakers and get ready to take on a new challenge: the Trail Air Calédonie d’Ouvéa!

Air Calédonie, in partnership with Challenge Organisation, invites you to this brand new event on June 24th. For this first edition, unique courses and activities await you in the Mouli tribe!

A UNIQUE COURSE AND A GREAT WEEKEND OF DISCOVERY IN PERSPECTIVE!

The Ouvéa Trail is designed to be accessible to all levels of athletes. You can therefore register for three different courses: the Grand Raid (17 km), the Mini Raid of 10 km. For small tribes, choose the 3km family course that will allow you to push yourself with your loved ones.

For this first edition, the organizers are preparing breathtaking courses during which you can appreciate the highlights of the island closest to paradise: the Mouli tribe, the Mouli bridge, and also the Hnyimek bay in Lékine.

After the effort, the comfort! In the evening, a buffet will be offered during which the top three finishers in each race will be awarded prizes.
